What are the problems that LED street light need to solve?

With the acceleration of urbanization, LED street light have already entered the people's field of vision, you can see it everywhere in big cities, which dot the night sky of cities. However, LED street light still does not get the best use, because it has some limitations, in order to ensure that LED can play more roles in our life, we should solve these problems in future research and production and promotion.

First, the appearance structure of lamps and lanterns.

The appearance of traditional street lamp lamps is basically the same, which is generally divided into  light source and electrical appliance, but due to the particularity of LED light source and the different methods of light distribution, makes now the appearance of the LED street lamp is varied and many lamps do not meet the requirements of running, even some companies based on indoor standard applied to outdoor lamps.

Secondly, the connection between LED street light and lamp pole has problem.

At present, almost all of the LED street light is fixed with screws, with very few holding bolts fixed. Thus, there are great hidden dangers to the safe operation of lamps. The limitations of LED street lamp restrict it development.

Third, the replacement of the lamp parts.

LED street lighting components generally have LED chip, power (driver) and lamp housing parts, the vulnerable parts are mainly power and chip. In general, the LED chip is electronic radiator which can't change, and the power supply (driver) can be replaced, however, the power supply on the change of convenient enough, change is too time consuming in a lot of products.

As we all know, LED lamps can now live up to 30,000 to 50,000 hours. If the LED chip cannot be replaced, it means replacing the entire lamp, which can also cause waste.

Fourth, the life of the power supply. 

Power (actuator) is the key component of LED lamps. At present, the quality of LED chip is generally guaranteed in the market, while the life of power supply (driver) is different.

General manufacturers promise to guarantee three years is good. This comes down to the fact that the development of LED street light has encountered a new bottleneck -- the quality of the power supply (driver) is not guaranteed, which restricts the development of LED street lamps.
